Anger Kitchen

Anger-Kitchen is an open panel evening with discussions, invited guests, and a food performance focusing on female anger. The evening is part of the city festival "Media Art is here" of the UNESCO City of Media Arts Karlsruhe. Female anger is rarely acknowledged by society for what it is, a signal for real grievances. Anger-Kitchen brings it out of the kitchen, onto the stage, into the public eye. The center of the evening will be a conversation with invited guests from art, science, and activism about questions without easy answers, when anger becomes political, who is allowed to express it, and what happens when it becomes visible. The evening will be accompanied by a food performance by Amelie Poxleitner (The Other Archive) and Isabelle Konrad, who turn cooking itself into a stage of postponed anger, and an excerpt from the concert "Are woman people?" by Carlotta Lipski & Magdalena Wolfahrt. Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 6 PM, studio hö, Kaiserstraße 3, Karlsruhe. Children accompanied by adults are welcome, free admission, no registration required, in German.
