Join Fritz Fliege on a grand journey through space

Hop in, buckle up, and be amazed: With Fritz Fliege flies into space, children from 4 years old and their families experience an imaginative journey through the cosmos. On October 30, 2026, the dome of the PLANET KA Planetarium Karlsruhe will transform into a colorful world full of stars, planets, and surprising encounters.

A dandelion rocket takes off

Fritz, the curious fly, sets off together with Sigrid, the wise spider, and Gustav, the brave grasshopper from a colorful flower meadow. Their self-built dandelion rocket takes them to the moon, Mars, sparkling constellations, a talking stone, and even a real comet. The imaginative story invites children to daydream, get excited, and fly along.

Playful learning under the planetarium dome

The child-friendly show combines adventure and science. Little explorers learn about planets, stars, and constellations in a playful way. Rockets, the moon, Mars, and its robotic vehicles are explained in an understandable and entertaining manner. Interactive elements promote active thinking, curiosity, and joy in scientific learning experiences.

Child-friendly imagination with impressive visuals

The lovingly told story comes from Renate Heinrichs and Meike Weisner from the Bochum Planetarium. Illustrations by Meike Weisner and digital dome projections by Renate Heinrichs make the journey through space a sensory family experience. Children experience wonder, laughter, and shared time in a safe and age-appropriate environment.

Well prepared for a family adventure

The event lasts about one hour and is suitable for children from 4 years old and the whole family. The planetarium opens 30 minutes before the start. Since no late entry is possible, families should be on-site at least five to ten minutes before the start. Unused tickets are non-refundable.

Conclusion: A journey with Fritz Fliege combines imagination, astronomy, and learning fun into a special family experience. Those who want to explore the moon with children, discover constellations, and feel the fascination of the universe will experience an exciting morning full of wonder at PLANET KA.
