Takt & Torte: The dance café brings the Waldstadt into motion

Takt & Torte brings the Waldstadt into motion

Music on, everyday life off: On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the BewegungsCafé Karlsruhe invites you to the dance café Takt & Torte at the St. Hedwig community center. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, music, movement, and socializing will be the focus. DJ, dance teacher, and moderator Joe Stefan will provide the musical framework and an open party atmosphere without pressure to perform.

DJ set for dancing joy and good mood

Joe Stefan combines his DJ set with experience as a dance teacher and moderator. The focus is not on perfect dance steps, but on shared experiences: dancing, listening, chatting, or simply enjoying the Sunday afternoon. The dance floor atmosphere is aimed at everyone who loves music and enjoys moving at their own pace.

Club experience with coffee, cake, and social interaction

Here, a relaxed dance café atmosphere meets sociable afternoon energy. Coffee and cake invite cozy breaks and are offered on a donation basis. The concept of the BewegungsCafé creates a low-threshold meeting space for people of all ages, with or without a dance partner.

Workshop before the dance café

Those who want to start earlier can join the dance workshop with Joe Stefan from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. The workshop is aimed at individuals and couples; no previous knowledge is required. Participation costs 30 euros, including entry to the subsequent dance café. Registration is required.

Conclusion: Dance, laugh, and enjoy Sunday together

Takt & Torte promises a warm club experience in the district: diverse music, movement, coffee, cake, and real encounters. Anyone looking for a sociable afternoon with music and good energy will experience the Waldstadt best live at the St. Hedwig community center.
