Free Dancing Karlsruhe: Freedom of Movement on the Dance Floor
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the large hall in the Anne Frank House Karlsruhe will transform into an open space for music, movement, and a shared club experience. From 6 PM to 10 PM, two DJs will take turns at the DJ booth, bringing diverse, non-commercial music beyond the mainstream to the dance floor.
Barefoot, with Dance Shoes, and Totally Without Guidelines
Here, the individual flow of movement counts. Whether barefoot or in dance shoes: a free dance floor atmosphere emerges, where everyone finds their own rhythm. The ambiance remains open, physical, and communal – without a fixed choreography and without performance pressure.
Diverse Music Mix with Two DJs
The party lineup features two rotating DJs from an active team of currently twelve individuals. This creates a diverse music mix away from the mainstream. The volunteer DJs respond to the energy of the crowd and create a dynamic DJ set that supports creative movement and spontaneous dancing.
A Club Experience Without Commercial Admission
Free Dancing Karlsruhe operates non-commercially. Registration is not required; interested individuals can simply drop by between 6 PM and 10 PM. Admission is free; donations are kindly requested in the box at the DJ booth to cover venue rent, GEMA, and liability insurance.
Conclusion: Music On, Everyday Life Off
Free Dancing Karlsruhe connects open club culture, diverse sounds, and a respectful party atmosphere. Anyone wishing to move, discover new music, and experience the dance floor without rigid rules will find the right space at the Anne Frank House. Come by and dance yourself free.
