A Magical Story about Friendship

At the center of the children's opera based on the classic children's book by Astrid Lindgren is Bertil. The boy spends a lot of time alone and longs for shared time, play, and conversation. One day, he meets Nils Karlsson Däumling, nicknamed Nisse, a tiny boy from a mouse hole in the basement.

With music, a special magic spell, and their friendship, the two discover an adventurous world where size relations suddenly impose no limits. A singer and a violinist tell the story in a child-friendly, musical, and imaginative way.
