Radio Play Art Meets Museum: ARD Radio Play Days at the Karlsruhe Art Museum
From November 5 to 8, 2026, the ARD Radio Play Days will transform Karlsruhe into a meeting point for radio play art, live experiences, and creative encounters. Visitors will find a diverse program with free admission on Friday, November 6, from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Karlsruhe Art Museum.
Live Radio Plays and Creative Sound Worlds
Between artworks, voices, and sounds, a special festival atmosphere is created. Live radio plays, readings, workshops, and interactive formats make the museum an open sound space for families, radio play fans, and curious culture explorers. The combination of visual art and acoustic storytelling gives the multi-day experience of the ARD Radio Play Days its unique character.
Workshops, Tours, and Museum Rally
The program invites you to listen, participate, and discover. Workshops open creative approaches to radio plays, tours connect the exhibitions with new perspectives, and a museum rally playfully guides through the art museum. Especially on Friday and on the traditional Children's Radio Play Day on Sunday, the offerings are geared toward families and young visitors.
A Festival for the Whole Community
The ARD Radio Play Days are among the established multi-day cultural events in Karlsruhe. The lineup in 2026 ranges from radio play presentations and live productions to podcast shows, participatory formats, and special stage moments. At the art museum, the festival organization of the Radio Play Days meets the expertise of a house for modern and contemporary art.
Conclusion: Sound, Art, and Shared Experience
The Karlsruhe Art Museum offers a vibrant place for stories, voices, and shared discoveries during the ARD Radio Play Days.
