The Dolphins bring musical wishes to the stage

On Friday, October 30, 2026, the cabaret stage at the Orgelfabrik Karlsruhe will transform into a resonance space for exquisite harmony singing, surprising arrangements, and Baden stage cheer. The Dolphins A‑Cappella Quintet presents the program Wish for something! starting at 8:15 PM at the Spiegelfechter small arts stage.

More than three decades of sound and humor

For over 30 years, The Dolphins have gathered under the cheeky pretense of refined singing. From this long-standing musical friendship, one of the cornerstones of the Karlsruhe A‑cappella scene has developed. The repertoire ranges from Barbershop classics to the style of the Comedian Harmonists to sophisticated pop arrangements.

Harmonious choral singing meets virtuosic piano

Five powerful singers combine precise synchronization, humorous timing, and warm vocal orchestration. Sometimes the pure A‑cappella sound carries the evening, and sometimes the piano sets distinct accents. This creates a varied stage performance between concert, comedic A‑cappella play, and charming musical cabaret.

The audience decides

The title Wish for something! is the program: After more than three decades on stage, numerous favorite songs have accumulated. More titles than can fit into a single concert evening open up space for musical surprises and special requests from the audience. Each piece thus receives its own tension arc – from finely crafted harmonies to energetic pop moments.

Live atmosphere in the Orgelfabrik

The cabaret stage of the Orgelfabrik combines the special charm of a historic cultural venue with the intimacy of a small arts stage. Short distances to the audience, clear acoustics, and the direct audience atmosphere create ideal conditions for vocal details, pointed transitions, and spontaneous reactions in the hall.

Conclusion: An evening for voices, wit, and favorite songs

Visitors can expect an entertaining concert experience with harmonious choral singing, virtuosic piano accompaniment, and surprising wish fulfillments. Anyone wishing to experience the Karlsruhe A‑cappella tradition live and enjoy a musically humorous evening in Durlach should secure the date.
