STOPPOK brings the RUND-Trip to Karlsruhe
STOPPOK celebrates his 70th birthday with the RUND-Trip – the Band Tour 2026 and will perform on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the TOLLHAUS cultural center in Karlsruhe. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert begins at 8:00 PM. The event will be standing only.
Songwriting art with edges, corners, and a lot of feeling
For five decades, STOPPOK has combined pointed German lyrics with folk, blues, and rock’n’roll. His characteristic sound thrives on wordplay, musical precision, and a stage performance that fluctuates between mockery, contemplation, and heartfelt closeness. As a singer, guitarist, and storyteller, he develops compelling songs with his own signature from everyday life, value changes, and human contradictions.
A well-rehearsed band for the big live moment
On the RUND-Trip, STOPPOK will be accompanied by Reggie Worthy on bass, Leo Lazar on drums, and Sebel on keyboards and guitar. The band delivers powerful grooves, bluesy tones, and dynamic synchronization between vocals, string instruments, and rhythm section. This creates a live atmosphere that combines musical craftsmanship with spontaneous stage energy.
Anniversary tour with a new album and old friends
The tour will take STOPPOK through Germany from October 21 to November 15, 2026. The focus will be on new songs from the album being released for the tour, as well as well-known pieces from his long career. The albums Jubel and Teufelsküche reached the top five of the Media Control charts and underscore the enduring resonance of his distinctive songwriting art.
Audience mood between groove and goosebumps
STOPPOK concerts combine musical energy with precise observation and personal engagement. Between driving rhythm, striking guitar lines, and quiet moments, a concert experience emerges that touches both heart and mind. The Karlsruhe audience can expect a standing evening close to the stage, with strong lyrics and a band that carries every song with palpable joy of playing.
