RSxT feat. WEBSTER: The Golden Triangle brings Jazz, Groove and Hip-Hop to TOLLHAUS
On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Roman Schuler extended Trio will transform the cultural center TOLLHAUS in Karlsruhe into a pulsating resonance space for modern jazz music. The release party for the new EP The Golden Triangle combines virtuosic piano trio playing with electronic textures, hip-hop beats, and the distinctive presence of Berlin saxophonist and singer WEBSTER.
Three musicians, three qualities, one new sound
At the center of the EP are love, trust, and joy. The three programmatic pieces Love (The Binding Tie), Trust (The Foundation), and Joy (The Spark) translate these emotional fundamental forces into sound. The interplay creates a musical triangle between connection, stability, and energy.
Contemporary Groove Music with improvised tension
RSxT moves confidently between modern jazz piano trio, groove jazz, fusion, and hip-hop. Roman Schuler's keyboards and Ableton electronics blend with the warm bass of Konrad Herbolzheimer and the precise, powerful drumming of Alex Klauck. The orchestration remains open to spontaneous turns: improvisation, interaction, and electronic synchronization give each stage performance its own pulse.
WEBSTER expands the sound space
For Joy (The Spark), WEBSTER expands the trio with saxophone and vocals. His musical home in jazz and hip-hop fits directly with the contemporary groove aesthetics of RSxT. This results in a dense live sound, where melodic lines, beats, and improvised sound colors intertwine.
Roman Schuler and RSxT between jazz club and festival stage
Since 2016, RSxT has stood for music that not only describes inner states but makes them immediately audible. Roman Schuler developed the project into a collective sound body. Previous releases appeared on the Berlin XJAZZ label; performances have taken the ensemble to festivals such as ELBJAZZ, Enjoy Jazz, and XJazz, among others. Schuler's work combines acoustic piano trio, electronic production, and the energy of urban pop and hip-hop culture.
Release party with Karlsruhe home advantage
The presentation at TOLLHAUS has a special closeness: Roman Schuler originates from Karlsruhe, and the new EP will be celebrated live right here. The seated concert with free seating creates space for focused listening before the groove spreads in the audience's mood. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert begins at 8:00 PM.
The audience can expect a concert experience that balances atmospheric sound depth, precise conduction of interaction, and impulsive stage energy. Those who want to experience jazz, electronic sounds, and hip-hop grooves in an open fusion should not miss RSxT feat. WEBSTER live at TOLLHAUS.
