Find Your Rhythm: Drumming Together for Peace and Encounter
When drum beats fill the room, many individual impulses create a common rhythm. At the workshop Find Your Rhythm, IIFG Drum AG invites you to the International Meeting Center Karlsruhe on November 5, 2026. Artists, locals, refugees, and all interested citizens come together to experience music as a bridge between people and cultures.
In Sync Together
From 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, an open event atmosphere develops in the IBZ hall, where encounter and communal music-making take center stage. The low-threshold format is aimed at both beginners and those with musical experience. Previous knowledge is not the focus: what matters is the joy of rhythm and the willingness to engage in conversation.
Music as Cultural Encounter
The drumming offering has a clear goal: to promote integration, reduce fears, and overcome prejudices through personal exchange. Therefore, the planning of the event focuses not only on musical impulses but also on mutual acquaintance and a respectful coexistence. The audience's atmosphere thrives on openness, movement, and the shared experience when individual beats create a connecting sound.
Participate Without Barriers
Participation is free of charge. If you own a drum, bongo, or another musical instrument, feel free to bring it along. Even without your own instrument, the workshop provides space to discover your own rhythm and become part of an intercultural community. For questions, IIFG Drum AG can be reached via email at iifgka@web.de or by phone at 0176 66067537.
An Evening with a Special Atmosphere
The IBZ in Karlsruhe's Weststadt provides the perfect setting for this event experience. Here, different life stories, languages, and musical experiences come together. The organization by the International Islamic Women's Community e.V. connects cultural work with a practical, immediately experiential encounter format.
Conclusion: Rhythm Connects
Visitors can expect a free workshop with shared music, intercultural exchange, and an open atmosphere. Anyone who wants to experience Karlsruhe from a particularly unifying sound perspective will find an uncomplicated access to encounter and community at Find Your Rhythm.
