Engagements at festivals such as ECLAT, Ultraschall Berlin, Acht Brücken, the Heidelberg Spring String Quartet Festival, MIXTUR, and the PAN Music Festival in Seoul have taken the Fabrik Quartet to renowned stages in Europe and Asia. In 2024, the ensemble was in residence at the Barcelona Modern Festival and Masterclass. Collaborations with composers such as Helmut Lachenmann, Rebecca Saunders, Liza Lim, and George Lewis shape the artistic profile.
Composing as a Lively Dialogue
The Fabrik Quartet develops new works together with composers like Sebastian Claren and Pablo Garretón. Masterclasses with Irvine Arditti as well as members of the Ensemble Modern and Ensemble Intercontemporain complement their education. Since October 2024, the quartet has been studying in the concert exam program at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt with Prof. Lucas Fels and Prof. Tim Vogler.
